At the time of my father's death (James Nance) The whole family was in a deep state of sadness. The staff and owners at Doty Nash were extremely helpful and patient while guiding myself and my family through the many details of preparing for the funeral. Losing a Loved One is never easy; especially if that Loved One is a Parent. When planning my Homegoing Service for my Father, Vera & Marcus Hudson were extremely compassionate, courteous, thoughtful and flexible to my needs. As my Father's Homegoing Service was reaching its conclusion, the highlight of the Service was when the Military Guard gave a heartfelt salute. I was completely and pleasantly surprised; as that display of care and conscientiousness has made the Healing Process a bit easier for myself and my Family. Dear Marcus & Vera Hudson, Romans 8:28 says "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose. For several years life for me has been a struggle but I survived. My Aunt Lou's humbleness drew me closer to God. The softness of her voice when she would talk to God made me take notice and realize that God is everything you need. When Aunt Lou passed and I was arranging her Memorial Program, the Lord had already put you in place to render a great service. Therefore, I want to thank you for providing the beautiful flowers, the obituaries and your kindness which gave me most comfort during my bereavement.
